Kingsley is looking for applicants for the position of Early Childhood Associate Teacher. We seek reflective, intentional educators who are looking to contribute to a progressive Montessori curriculum, pedagogy and principles. As an Associate Teacher, this individual will share responsibility for all aspects of our students’ classroom experience and for developing strong partnerships with parents and colleagues. The Associate teachers will also be responsible in maintaining current health and safety protocols due to Covid 19 in partnership with the Classroom Assistant Teacher. Other important duties include advancing your professional and personal growth and fulfilling administrative duties. All teachers attend regular meetings, observe, advise, and serve as a mentor and role model for other faculty in the areas of curriculum management, classroom schedules, record keeping, student needs, and the classroom environment. Early Childhood Associate Teachers report to the Early Childhood Director of Education.

Functioning under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) and as a member of the school health team, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs duties of direct and indirect student care. The CNA is responsible for supporting the RN with clinical tasks, including, but not limited to glucometry, basic first aid, and vital signs. In addition, the CNA is responsible for responding to the needs of students and family members and takes a proactive role in responding to the needs of faculty as necessary.
The following duties will be performed under the general direction of a Nurse.

This position will allow candidates in the early stages or transitional phases of their careers to work with and learn from experienced teaching teams
Among other duties as listed, the Kingsley Teaching Aide will assist faculty in organizing materials, facilitating on-campus classes, overseeing indoor and outdoor breaks, overseeing online study halls, offering clubs and other interest-based activities, and covering lunch duties. Ideal candidates have experience working with children and are interested in gaining more practical experience in a school setting. We’re hiring immediately for this position; contract extends until June 2021.
