Auxiliary Programs

An umbrella term that covers any activity not included in the regular Kingsley school day.

Auxiliary Programs are available for P3 through Grade 6 and run every day until 6:00 p.m.

Auxiliary Programs can benefit students in a variety of ways.

Kingsley's Auxiliary Programs

Fostering out-of-classroom friendships; Providing time for homework and independent projects; Building music and language skills; Encouraging new interests, such as journalism, digital arts, and engineering.

Regular After School Programs

Friendship Club (Grades P3–K, 2:50–6:00 p.m.)
After School Club (Grades 1–3, 2:50–4:30 p.m.)
Homework Club (Grades 3–6, 2:50–4:30 p.m.)
Late Club (Grades 1–6, 4:30–6:00 p.m.)

Enrichment Programs

These class offerings are structured around specific topics, allowing students to explore what interests them.This trimester our classes include:

STEAM, Yoga, Journalism, Tech & Engineering, YMCA Swim, Comic Creators, Playful Potions, Dance, Wearable Art, Nature Exploration, Guitar, Digital Art & Design

Private Lessons

Individual, 30-minute private music lessons are available to students grade P4 and up. Current offerings include: cello (K & up only), violin, voice (Grade 1 & up only), piano, ukulele, guitar, French language, and chess.

Summer and Vacation Activities

When school is not in session, Kingsley offers two other types of Auxiliary Programs.

Summer in the City

Your child will be immersed in activities centered around the arts, engineering, nature, and sports, right here in the very heart of the city.

Vacation Care

Engaging, enriching childcare opportunities during select school vacation weeks—a great solution for busy parents during those tricky times of the year!
