Students are encouraged to engage in the learning process, taking ownership of their learning practice regimen as well as developing a vocabulary for guided self-critique.
Private lessons are available to students starting in the Preschool 4 (P4) year. Families register once in the summer and keep their assigned lesson times for the full year, September to June.

Music Lessons
Music lessons incorporate healthy technique, sight reading, music theory, composition, ear training, and aural analysis. Students are encouraged to perform in recitals that take place throughout the year.

Language Lessons
Language lessons incorporate all aspects of language learning, including but not limited to: vocabulary, grammar and syntax, pronunciation, developing reading and writing comprehension, and the integration of cultural components.

Chess Lessons
Chess lessons incorporate all facets of the game, including but not limited to: foundational mechanics, advanced strategy and tactical decision-making, positional understanding, and the development of cognitive skills like problem-solving, focus, and creative confidence. The program integrates technical instruction with a growth-oriented approach, ensuring students learn to navigate complex challenges and apply logic both on and off the board.
