Kingsley Families: Our Co-Directors of Student Support would like to welcome you to join the Kingsley Parent Book Club!
Kingsley Parent Book Club
Join the Co-Directors of Student Support, Megan Swift & Madelin Cerullo, as they facilitate a Book Club for parents. The Book Club will have pre-assigned readings for each meetup with the meetup’s conversation driven by a certain topic or theme. Our goal is to choose informative, thought-provoking books that will invite participants to explore a number of topics related to raising and educating well-adjusted and happy children.
First Meeting of the Kingsley Parent Book Club 2020
The first book we will be reading this fall is Parenting in a Pandemic by Dr. Kelly Fradin. Parenting in a Pandemic breaks down the current state of what it means to be a parent as we navigate more uncertainty in our daily lives.
The first meeting of the Kingsley Parent Book Club will take place on November 17, 8:45 a.m., via virtual video conference.
RSVP for the 2020 Book Club
Throughout the year, the book club is scheduled to occur every other Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. starting on November 17th.
Please reach out to Megan (email@example.com) and Madelin (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Friday, November 13th to share your interest in participating. We will then send a discussion guide to all participants prior to our first meeting.
If you can't make the first meeting, don't be alarmed. You are more than welcome to attend any meetings that you are able—even if you haven't had a chance to read the source material. Discussions of the material are sure to be informative and engaging, for anyone who wants to take part. We hope to see you there!
