The health, safety, and security of our school community is our foremost priority at Kingsley. This past summer, Kingsley joined a number of leading independent schools in the Boston area to commission Environmental Health and Engineering, Inc., to generate a report bringing together expert guidance across domains and providing more specific operational and policy recommendations, in general. A significant portion of their report pertained to facilities management, and ventilation in particular.

Kingsley's Summer in the City program is a great opportunity for children ages 3 through 9 to explore Boston, learn, and have fun with new friends. Summer in the City is a five week program, that touches on a number of important themes each week.

At Kingsley, we regularly invite prospective families, current parents, and educators to observe a normal day in our classrooms. Montessori classrooms operate differently than other types of classrooms, and for some adults this flow might be new. There are a few things that you should be prepared for when planning to observe in Montessori classrooms.

One aspect of the Practical Life curriculum for early childhood students that generates a lot of interest is the "pouring work." The most common type of pouring work is wet pouring or water pouring (as opposed to pouring small solid objects).
