Welcome to the Kingsley Montessori School Library!
“The library is a symbol of freedom.”
-Sara Sheridan, author

Hello from the Library!

I am not quite sure how it is March already, but here we are! The students have been busy with a variety of library activities, and I appreciate all of your support around my endeavors. UE students have been borrowing BPL books for research and learning how to use some of the academic databases available to them through the BPL website. LE students have been learning about these, too, as well as a robust virtual library available to them called BookFLIX. All elementary classes have been enjoying the read alouds from the BPL Yearlong Reading Challenge, Reading Together. We log into the challenge and write reviews and the challenge app keeps track of all of our reads - fun, and nice for us all to feel we are a part of a community of readers in Boston! Four new Early Childhood classes have joined the Story Time fun on Friday mornings. It is a true pleasure meeting the needs of everyone in our learning community.

An Important Reminder

If your Lower or Upper Elementary student does not have a working BPL eCard and PIN# yet, please help him/her get one! It is the only way to access the many resources BPL is offering. This is making up for the fact that our school library is closed! Thank you for your support!

Spring Virtual Book Fair Will Be Here April 5-16!
