Kingsley offers a wide variety of opportunities for children ages 3-12 to explore, discover and play in a safe, less structured environment through its After-School Program, specialized enrichment classes, vacation care and summer camp.
In the After-School Program (ASP), students expand their Kingsley learning experience through intriguing investigations, such as the study of hot air balloons and the science behind them; participate in a literacy program that pairs older students with younger readers; connect with the school’s urban neighborhood; or simply unwind in a quite setting.
Kingsley augments the After-School Program by offering special Enrichment classes that cover the gamut from sports, dance, yoga, cooking, crafts, music composition and technique, nature walks and much more. Each class provides a stimulating and exciting opportunity for children to expand their interests and discover new ones.
Vacation Care is offered the first week of winter and spring break, and echoes on a smaller scale the curriculum developed for Kingsley’s excellent After-School Program.
Summertime! At Kingsley offers themed educational and recreational program that build on creative and spontaneous exploration and learning. A healthy balance of hands-on experience, projects designed to engage and stimulate, field trips and recreational activities guarantee each day at Summertime! will delight and inspire.
