The Arts and Sciences at Kingsley are comprised of many teaching tracks, including Spanish, Technology and Library Sciences, Health and Physical Education, Visual and Performing Arts, as well as Earth, Physical and Chemical Science. Each subject area provides our students the opportunity to explore, discover, observe and experiment in fields of study and enlightenment that are integrated with studies in the classroom. All are supported by our expansive Cultural Enrichment Program.
As an urban school, Kingsley is keenly aware of the value the great outdoors plays in the balance of education, particularly in hands-on learning and physical education. Our Arts and Science programs foster environmental awareness by weaving positive outdoor experiences and educational opportunities into the curriculum, including the Charles River Study, A Mountain Classroom and visits to nearby Broadmore Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick and Nature’s Classroom in Kingston.
Each program is designed to further expand the learning experience in and out of the classroom, encouraging confidence, respect and individual expression, while exposing children to the best that Boston and our greater community have to offer.
