The Preschool building is located at 30 Fairfield Street, at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue, and is a grand, four-story brick townhouse that was the former homestead for the Salstonstall family. The gracious home was originally designed in 1886 and is often referred to as “school away from home,” alluding to its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The surrounding Back Bay neighborhood is noted for stunning townhouses, parks and cultural resources and is adjacent to Boston's famous Newbury Street and historic Fenway Park.
The Fairfield Street building includes three Toddler classes (ages 2 - 3) and six Preschool classrooms (ages 3 - 6). Each classroom is equipped with beautiful Montessori materials and technology resources. The facility is uniquely designed for young children and their curriculum, including a movement room with play structures and climbing wall, library, art room and after school room.
Enrollment at the Preschool building is 125 students.
Our Admissions Office is located at the Fairfield Street building.
