Empowering Each Child to Succeed
Our Elementary Program is divided into two levels: Lower Elementary (First through Third Grade), and Upper Elementary (Fourth through Sixth Grade). Two dedicated directors of the Elementary Program coordinate the curriculum to best meet the social, academic, physical, and developmental needs of each age group.
As students progress through our Elementary Program, they gradually move from concrete to abstract, from fundamental to complex, from distinct to integrated and interrelated. Study materials reflect multiple levels of understanding and students progress at their own pace within the framework of the curriculum. Success - both academic and social - is regularly monitored using our comprehensive benchmarking system.
Kingsley students develop the discipline necessary for successful learning through required nightly reading and regular homework that includes writing, skill review, and outside research.
Tests and quizzes are administered routinely to measure mastery of subject matter while preparing students for secondary school environment and entrance exams.
